Quality Policy
Translations.com is committed not only to providing quality language solutions to meet client requirements, but also to working towards continual improvement in the processes and operations of our own organization and in those of our suppliers.
To this end, Translations.com has established and implemented a rigorous Quality Management System that is fully certified to the ISO 9001 and 17100 standards. This Quality Management System is fully documented, regularly audited, and evolves on a daily basis with regular input from our staff and clients.
ISO 9001 Certification
Translations.com currently follows a strictly outlined ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System. In fact, our Quality Management System and documentation far exceeds the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization. The Quality Assurance department at Translations.com constantly measures all of the quantifiable aspects of our business, with a special emphasis on client feedback. Continuous process improvement is achieved through measuring performance and working with senior management on refining our methodology.
TÜV, the world's foremost standards, testing, registration, and certification organization, conducted a thorough audit of TransPerfect’s practices on a global level, including but not limited to training, language production, information management, and quality control measures, prior to awarding ISO 9001:2015 certification to our nineteen primary production centers (please refer to the detailed list below).

ISO 17100 Certification
Translations.com is also certified to ISO 17100:2015, the world’s leading quality standard for Translations and Localization Service Providers (TSPs). ISO 17100 provides requirements for the core processes, resources, and other aspects necessary for the delivery of a quality translation service that meets applicable specifications. It also provides the means by which a translation service provider (TSP) can demonstrate conformity of specified translation services to ISO 17100:2015 and the capability of its processes and resources to deliver a translation service that will meet the client's and other applicable specifications.
To receive ISO 17100 certification, Translations.com was audited by third-party certifier TÜV SÜD, an internationally recognized, independent certifying organization.
ISO 17100 is the successor standard to EN 15038, taking the European standard for the certification of translation services providers another step forward towards internationalization. ISO 17100 makes translation service providers comparable worldwide.

Requirements of ISO 18587 include standards related to post-processing quality control of raw MT output, and it also outlines mandatory competencies of review and quality control personnel to ensure that risk associated with AI-generated content is adequately managed.
