TransPerfect’s Brielle Sydor Honored as Metro DC’s Finest by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

NEW YORK, NY, November 14, 2017 –TransPerfect, the world’s leading provider of language services and technology solutions for global business, has announced that Brielle Sydor, Director of Strategic Accounts based in the company’s Washington, DC office, was recognized by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as Metro DC’s Finest at the Breathe Easy Bash.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation honors a select group of men and women from cities or regions across the country that are committed to professional growth through a guided fundraising and awareness campaign. These honorees exemplify strong leadership qualities, are active in their community, and have excelled in their chosen professions. The honorees enjoy many benefits throughout the campaign, primarily the knowledge that they are helping to better the lives of children and adults living with cystic fibrosis.

“Finest is such a great opportunity to make a difference in our community and connect with others who share the same passion. We’re grateful to have Brielle Sydor, and TransPerfect as a whole, as a part of the team that is going to find a cure for cystic fibrosis,” commented Nuria Diallo, Metro DC’s Finest Campaign Chairwoman.

In earning the distinction, Brielle exemplified a commitment to raising money to help the Foundation realize its mission of controlling and curing cystic fibrosis. With TransPerfect’s support as a Mission Sponsor and the help of many generous donations, Brielle’s fundraising for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will help support vital cystic fibrosis research, including medical and educational programs.

Liz Elting, Co-CEO at TransPerfect, stated, “The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is a model organization and is incredibly effective in pursuing its mission, and the work they put in year round is truly admirable. We’re delighted that they have recognized Brielle for her exceptional efforts to raise awareness and make a difference in helping CFF achieve their ultimate goal.”

TransPerfect Co-CEO Phil Shawe remarked, “In order for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to fulfill its mission—helping people with cystic fibrosis live longer, healthier lives while searching for a cure—public support and fundraising is essential. We are incredibly proud that Brielle has stepped up in the name of a cause she believes in, and we certainly share her hope that significant advances in research aimed at controlling or eradicating this disease will be made in the near term.”
