Response to Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines

In response to the Typhoon Haiyan disaster in November 2013, the TransPerfect family of companies banded together to raise money in support of the relief effort. Matching every dollar donated by TransPerfect employees around the world, the company raised a total of $32,000. The funds were divided equally between the Philippine Red Cross and Gawad Kalinga, a Philippine-based non-profit with a long history of activity in local communities. The contribution helped these organizations provide immediate relief of food packs, mattresses, blankets, and clean water.
