Hole in the Wall Camps
Hole in the Wall Camps are designed to provide therapeutic recreation and a traditional “camp” experience for children with serious illnesses. Activities such as swimming, boating, arts, crafts, and campfires are all adapted to meet the needs of children with complex medical issues, including cancer, sickle cell anemia, HIV/AIDS, and hemophilia. Children receive unobtrusive medical treatment while focusing on fun—thus encouraging their independence, self-confidence, and resilience through otherwise difficult times. Founded by Paul Newman in 1988, Hole in the Wall Camps currently provide therapeutic recreation, medical treatments, and hospital outreach free of charge in 39 countries and 50 states.
TransPerfect is delighted to provide financial support to Hole in the Wall Camps as they continue to help children both locally and globally.
